A combined team made up of players from both sides played a friendly match at Lezama against a similar combined side from UD Logroñés
A combined Athletic team, comprising players from Genuine Athletic Club Fundazioa and the veterans’ team, faced a similar combined side from UD Logroñés yesterday afternoon at Lezama. As always when Athletic Genuine takes part in an event, and even more so when it involves a football match alongside the likes of Óscar de Marcos, Raúl García, Eli Ibarra, Javi González, Imanol Etxeberria, Eneko Bóveda, Luis Fernando, Javi Casas, Gorka Bidaurrazaga… the match turned into a real celebration.
The result didn’t matter, because what was important was that the Genuine players enjoyed a special afternoon – a goal that was achieved with flying colours. A great atmosphere, joy, fun and shared values on a football pitch, with a ball as the excuse.
