WEAVING SOLIDARITY NETWORKS
It is a project aimed at adults at risk of social exclusion, mainly homeless, over 18 years of age and from the Bilbao area
As part of a collaboration with the Bizitegi Association, each season we form a mixed training group. The sessions are led by technicians from the Athletic Club Foundation.
The main objective is to provide this group with a regular activity that helps in their process of socialisation and empowerment, as well as to promote sports and leisure activities and ensure their access to leisure.

The users of this project have problems of homelessness, discrimination, stigmatisation and difficulties in socialising
Bizitegi is an organisation that works to help homeless people in all aspects, by means of a global project of advice and accompaniment in all aspects.

The team trains once a week at the El Fango sports centre
In the sessions, through football and belonging to a team, they work on sporting issues as well as personal behaviour, coexistence, hygiene and daily habits.
Here the presence of our coaches is fundamental, as they become authority figures and role models who help them in their socialisation process.
Throughout the season we organise complementary activities that facilitate and complement our work in the field, such as matches with other Foundation Fundazioa groups, visits to the museum, watching matches in Lezama, etc.
