Specifically, the Foundation collaborates with Berriztu at its centres in Areatza, Bilbao and Ortuella, taking part by holding weekly training sessions in the individual socio-educational projects that the association carries out with children who have problems related to child-to-parent violence and with children at risk of social exclusion.
Also, through collaboration with IMQ Amsa, the Foundation help patients become protagonists in the therapeutic programme, thereby reactivating very important motivating elements for recovery, such as socialisation and taking part in group activities. The IMQ AMSA Day Hospital is aimed at people suffering from an ailment or mental health problems for which outpatient consultations are not enough, and who require more intensive treatment that allows them to stay connected to their living environment.
