A year ago, the Athletic Club legend and current ambassador of the Foundation, Andoni Goikoetxea, published a biography entitled “Goiko ‘5’: Corazón de león”, a book written in collaboration with Carmelo Rodrigo. At that time, Goikoetxea announced that part of the proceeds would go to the Bizitegi association, with which the Athletic Club Foundation is collaborating on a project aimed at homeless people living in and around the city of Bilbao.
At a meeting held at Ibaigane, Aitor Ipiña, representing Bizitegi, thanked Andoni Goikoetxea for this first donation of €1,500, the money raised so far.
Also attending were the General Director of the Foundation, Jon Vázquez Eguskiza, the author of the biography, Carmelo Rodrigo, and the Director of Communication in Euskadi of El Corte Inglés, Carmelo Lezana.
