The film “Nossa Chape” has won the Audience Award at the Thinking Football Film Festival 2019. The film directed by Michael and Jeff Zimbalist brothers, “Nossa Chape”, has won the Audience Award at the Thinking Football Film Festival 2019. The documentary, based on the aerial tragedy suffered by the Brazilian team of Chapecoense on November 28th 2016, inaugurated the seventh edition of the festival, which closed last Friday 22nd after an intense week in which 9 high quality feature films were shown. Brazilian-produced “Nossa Chape” thrilled audiences who packed the Sala BBK, a visibly emotional audience that voted in favor of the Brazilian-produced film.
The screening of the documentary was attended by Michael Zimbalist, one of the two directors of the film; Julian Duque, co-director; and Rafael Henzel, who was on the plane and was one of the six survivors of the tragedy.
