Euskal Non-League Day
COMMITMENT TO OUR CLUBS
An initiative in favour of grassroots football
Basque Non-League Day is an initiative supporting grassroots football that takes advantage of the international break in the men’s First Division to highlight the social and sporting importance of affiliated clubs and the youth football they represent.
It is an event that embodies the sense of belonging which distinguishes Athletic Club and its close ties with the youth academy and local non-professional football in the Basque Country.

EUROS RAISED FOR GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL
The British social movement Non-League Day was born in 2010 with the aim of taking advantage of a day without Premier League competition to support non-professional football
Athletic Club, aware that the values promoted by this community initiative align closely with its identity, is the first team in LaLiga to dedicate a weekend without First Division matches to highlight the importance of grassroots football and to encourage attendance at local pitches.
