YEARS WEAVING SORORITY NETWORKS
Violence against women is a monster with several heads, an evil that pervades practically all areas of human development.
It happens at different levels in families, in the workplace, in the street, in schools, in sport… That is why it is important to create spaces where women who suffer from this violence are protected. The Utopia project is one of them, a space where different women with very different problems (from gender to domestic violence, from eating disorders to depression) come together to support each other. Professionals from Clara Campoamor, Alcer and the Athletic Club Foundation, together with them, help those women to face their daily lives with the aim of providing them with the necessary tools and skills to fight for full inclusion.
Before each training session, an educator from Clara Campoamor offers different workshops on self-esteem, empowerment, setting limits, learning to say no, assertiveness, gender perspective, etc. to the group.
Other activities such as trips to museums, attending the 8M demonstration together, talks with players from the First Team, etc. are also organised throughout the season.
