The Three Kings

This documentary tells the incredible story of Matt Busby, Bill Shankly, Jock Stein, three men born less than 30 miles south of Glasgow, who grew up to become lifelong friends and three of the most influential men in the history of football. Directed by Jonny Owen, who has already presented the wonderful ‘I believe in Miracles’ at our festival, about Brian Clough’s Nottingham Forest and ‘Don’t take me home’ about the Welsh team at Euro 2016, ‘The three kings’ is in turn an exercise in nostalgia for that football we all fell in love with.
