Organized by the Nakusarbe Association for the dissemination of Science and Culture, it will be held at the Itsasmuseum from June 8 to 12
In order to commemorate and value the international days of the environment (June 5) and the oceans (June 8), the Nakusarbe Association for the dissemination of Science and Culture , in collaboration with the Itsasmuseum , celebrate the week of the environment and the oceans in Bilbao: “Basque Environment Ocean Week – BEOW 2022”.
This international environmental event aims to be an annual meeting in which the advances in disclosure on sustainability, in general, and also on the health of the oceans and the future of the planet, are presented. In this way, progress is made in social awareness work to achieve a greater commitment of citizens to bequeath a better world for future generations.
Among the activities planned during the “Basque Environment Ocean Week” are the following: Presentations in a round table format on planetary limits, underwater cinema days, children’s family games and a photography exhibition.
The Athletic Club Foundation, like every year, joins the commemoration of the international day of the environment and the international day of the oceans.
