Galder Reguera, Project Manager of the Athletic Club Foundation, has participated as a jury in the selection of the award-winning entities of the VI Edition of the Anesvad Awards, which recognize entities that work to guarantee the Right to Health in impoverished contexts in the Sub-Saharan Africa.
In the framework of collaboration with the Anesvad Foundation and its Awards, development cooperation initiatives have been chosen to guarantee basic supplies of electricity, sanitary material and maternal and child follow-up in hospitals in Burundi, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo; and an Education for Social Transformation initiative to work on the right to health with youth through co-creativity and a ludo-educational approach.
Elsa Punset and Rafa Bengoa analyze health challenges
In addition, on May 25, on the occasion of World Africa Day, San Mamés will light up in blue, the color of health, to claim that “If health stops, everything stops.” That same day, a cycle of digital events will start to reflect on the importance of solidarity, shared responsibility or resilience in the face of future health challenges, where, among others, Elsa Punset, writer and disseminator, and Rafael Bengoa, public health expert will participate.
