The Humans Foundation, made up of professionals and institutions from the world of health and social health, recognises the participatory humanism of the RSMB Project (Mental Health Network of Bizkaia)
The collaborative project between Osakidetza and the Athletic Club Foundation dedicated to patients of the Mental Health Network of Bizkaia has won in the “Participatory Humanism” area of the first edition of the Humans Awards.
The Humans Foundation is a foundation set up in 2017 by professionals and institutions from the world of healthcare and social healthcare, whose main objective is to facilitate the processes of Humanisation in healthcare organisations, in professional attitudes and in the organisational processes of healthcare centres.
In this 1st edition of the Best Humanisation Projects Competition, 293 projects have been received from organisations, active professionals and patient associations in the health and social-health fields that have set up projects that materialise in more humanised care.
Among the criteria assessed by the jury to award the collaborative project between Osakidetza and Athletic Club, the following stand out: the quality, the original and unpublished character, and the degree of detail of the work; the relevance, scope and capacity of transfer to society; and the viability, benefit and impact of the project.
This is the third award received by the RSMB Osakidetza Project in recent months, after having received the award from the Foundation for the Development of Nursing and the “Management in short” award from Euskalit.
