One more year, the final phase of this official football league for people with intellectual disabilities will be held in Lezama
The Athletic Club Foundation, our Genuine team, will play this weekend the first phase of the new season of LaLiga Genuine in Tarragona. This new season, full of renewed emotions, will be developed in four phases, divided into six venues, the first of which being the Salou Sports Center in Barcelona.
As in previous seasons, the 47 participating teams will be divided into two competition groups, under the name “Team Spirit” and “Respect”; the two winners of the competition and the other two of Fair Play will be announced at the end of the calendar.
Athletic Club will host the fourth and final phase of this tournament. The 47 participating teams will play their last matches between 30th of May and 1st of June. Lezama will become the perfect setting for this great final in which the champions of the 2024/25 season will be determined.
A new illusion
The opening ceremony will take place on 22nd of November at the Nou Estadi Costa Daurada, in Tarragona. The first assault will be held at the Salou Sports Center on the 23rd and 24th of this month. The second stage of the competition will be held in Valencia and A Coruña in February and March. Villarreal and Burgos will witness the third phase, which will take place between April and May. Finally, the final stage will be played at home.
