The young man from Biscay will carry out in Lisbon a course designed to promote employment and entrepreneurship of people with disabilities in the world of football
Eneko Bilbao, who was born with a Spastic Diplegia that forces him to walk on crutches or in a wheelchair, has been the person chosen by the Foundation to take the Football for All Leadership Program course. The young man from Balmaseda will travel from October 10 to 17 to Lisbon where he will be trained in this program specially conceived and designed to promote employment, entrepreneurship and networking for people with disabilities in the world of football.
This course is promoted by the Portuguese non-profit organization Integrated Dreams that collaborates with leading organizations in the world of football (FIFA, UEFA, Center for Access to Football in Europe – CAFE, Johan Cruyff Foundation, the Portuguese Football Federation, Arsenal FC and SL Benfica) and with the main academic entities (Nova SBE and AISTS Lausanne) with experience in social inclusion. Once Eneko Bilbao finishes the course in Lisbon, a 7-month period of implementation of a project associated with the Athletic Club Foundation will begin, which will conclude with a Graduation Ceremony at the Emirates Stadium in London in June 2022.
