Athletic Club players visit local hospitals

Members of both first teams paid visits to children staying in hospital this festive season

As is now tradition, Athletic Club players handed out presents at three hospitals in Biscay (Cruces, Basurto and IMQ Zorrozaurre) with the aim of giving the patients, both young and old, a special Christmas gift.

The Lions went to the hospitals after their public training session in front of 27,500 fans at San Mames. Always a special event, the younger patients were thrilled to meet their heroes.
