In addition to the rally driver’s testimony, the event included a conference on “The challenge of becoming an inclusive company” and a short concert by artists from the Sifu Group Foundation
The Athletic Club Foundation, in collaboration with the Sifu Group Foundation, organised a networking event on Thursday at the Geuria! sports bar in San Mamés, which featured the testimony of the famous Paris-Dakar driver Isidre Esteve. Since suffering a serious injury in 2007 that left him wheelchair-bound, Isidre Esteve has become a benchmark of inclusion for people with functional diversity.
Prior to Isidre Esteve‘s testimony, Guillermo Gutiérrez, development director of the SIFU Group Foundation, gave a talk entitled “The challenge of becoming an inclusive company”. A conference aimed at promoting labour inclusion in companies and in which he provided information on the LGD (General Law on Disability).
Different artists collaborating with the Grupo Sifu Foundation offered a small concert that put the finishing touch to a day of networking that was attended by the president of Athletic Club, Jon Uriarte, the manager Egoitz Begoña and numerous representatives of the companies collaborating with Fundazioa.
