Noemi, Julen, Jose, Aimar, Juan, Alaia, Asier and Eleder were the last eight winners of the Sustainable Development Challenges corresponding to the months of December, January, February and March. Gathered in the field of San Mamés, they have received their respective awards from the hands of former players Carlos Gurpegui, Igor Gabilondo and Roberto Martínez “Tiko”. The delivery of these prizes had to be delayed due to the pandemic and the Athletic Club Foundation has taken advantage of the end of the season to carry out a group delivery to serve as the closing of the first edition of the contest.
In total, there have been ten challenges proposed: Local and responsible trade, Sustainable mobility, Sustainable tourism, Waste reuse, The importance of biodiversity, Recycling of used clothing, Packages to take away without producing residues, Trash cooking, Sustainable Cities and Homemade and ecological cleaning products. Precisely, the winners of these last four challenges, corresponding to the months of December, January, February and March, have been the ones who have received their prizes in the field of San Mamés.
Among the prizes, in addition to the rojiblancas shirts, a voucher to visit the Ekoetxea de Urdaibai.
